What’s the best way to flatten out my map after I unroll it from the tube?

Find a clean area to unroll your map and place items at the corner and sides to act as paperweights. Don’t use anything that will leave a mark or residue, and move the weights around to make sure there aren’t marks or residue. This can a while, but eventually your map will flatten out. Of course using a frame is a good fix for this problem as well.

How should I get rid of that new scratch off map smell?

As with many large printed scratch off maps, after you take it out of the tube there will be a slight smell. This is normal and the remedy is to just lay it flat as mentioned above and the smell should disappear eventually.

    What do you do with the flags on the bottom of the map?

      Hi David! The flags below the map are able to be scratched off. So when you scratch off the country you’re able to scratch off the corresponding flag as well.
